New York Bridal Fashion Week: Reem Acra

Reem Acra’s latest bridal collection included regal gowns and  ethereal touches  like baby’s breath crowns and accents. The collection was shown on a run way at the New York Public Library! It was incredible to shoot in there, knowing the amazing literature within those walls and the history of the building. The high, engraved wood ceilings lent a heavenly, out of this world feel to the show. The collection is full of classic and demure gowns while still including show stopping pieces like that BOW! Inspired by the Tiffany & co bow, it was breathtaking!

Acra’s signature embroideries were present here, too. On one strappy dress, the intricate thread work crept from the top of the skirt up to the bust; on another, it added interest to three-quarter-length sleeves. One not-so-obvious, had-to-be-there-to-see-it detail? The pearls dotting the spines of several gowns. Read more about the collection here, and enjoy some of my favorite moments from the show!
