Intimate & romantic at home wedding

With more and more couples choosing smaller events over larger ones – either by choice or due to state restrictions – this particular editorial shoot is the PERFECT inspiration to turn a small, at-home affair into an exquisite experience for every single guest, as well as the couple of honor. “The inspiration behind this shoot has been the rise of intimate gatherings being celebrated in private homes,” shares Michelle Durpetti of Michelle Durpetti Events, who encourages couples to hire professionals to make the big day absolutely breathtaking – and ease the stresses that come with planning a wedding of any size.

“We all love the idea of smaller weddings, family celebrations, and milestone moments being celebrated in a home that already has so many wonderful memories for those celebrating,” she adds, encouraging couples to feel free to stay home if they so choose. However, if having a luxury wedding with a larger guest list was part of your original plan, don’t be afraid to still add a level of formality to a more intimate wedding by way of attire, florals, and décor. In this case, the bride was stunning in an off-the-shoulder designer gown with bow detailing at the shoulders, and she carried a lush bouquet of blooms and verdure designed by Taylor & Co Events

I love working with creatives that I have trust in and know I can have a great time collaborating with and this shoot was chock full of that! Kudos to all of the awesome people that brought such talent to this day:

And we can’t forget one really cool thing with this shoot – the catering was done by our family restaurant, Gene & Georgetti! Gene was actually my wife’s grandfather and if you love great Italian food and really great steak you should check this place out for dinner, your rehearsal dinner or even for off site catering! So much info at the website which I linked above, and I am sharing a few faves from the food below 🤩
