Taking a Look Back: My First Wedding, Dick + Geri

Spring cleaning means lots of things for me.  Vacuuming for once, dusting, throwing the clutter of the past year away, but also many things for the photo-side of life.  One of things is to clean out hard drives, make sure everything is in working order, and to prep for the coming wedding season.

A few days ago, I stumbled upon a REALLY old hard drive, we are talking close to 10 years old.  Magically it worked just fine, and its contents brought a smile to my face.

My Very First Wedding.

Dick and Geri are a couple that I have known for a long time, and part of that beginning was via their wedding almost a decade ago, in June of 2004.  So, just for fun I started looking through the images, and re-imagining as the photographer I am today.  Grown, evolved, changed.  I then (at 11:30 PM mind you,) decided to edit the entire set of images, and share them in the new age digital way, via Pictage.com.

It is amazing how things change, and yet don’t.  The foundations of my style are there.  Something I hold true to today, just as much as then.
